HEALTHY LIVING ON YOUR DOORSTEP

Twenty-eight percent of Greater Springfield is dedicated to open green spaces.  This means that no matter where you live, learn, work or play at Greater Springfield you are never far from a park, walking trail, sporting oval or untouched natural bushland.  This is a city where you'll never feel hemmed in.

Springfield Central Parklands

At the heart of the city is Springfield Central Parklands.  Due to open in December 2009, this spectacular parkland will be a place for families and individuals to relax, unwind and enjoy a healthy outdoor lifestyle all year round.

The parklands will feature bike and walking trails, open air ampitheatre, picnic and bbq spots, cascading water features and water play areas, boardwalks, kids play areas and much much more.

The parklands' magnificent towering Ghost Gums have been beautifully preserved to create natural shade areas and a green, healthy environment for city residents and park visitors to enjoy for generations to come.

Brookwater Golf Club
