Springfield Land Corporation has reaffirmed its commitment to providing the very best in education and health by appointing Mr Terry Kearney as Executive General Manager of Education and Health.
Mr Kearney brings 37 years of experience in the education sector to Springfield Land Corporation, the masterplanners and developers of Greater Springfield - Australia's most exciting new city.
Chairman of Springfield Land Corporation Maha Sinnathamby said that Mr Kearney would add a wealth of experience to the team as the company strives to create two very unique precincts in Education City and Health City Springfield.
"Because of his passion for education, Terry was an absolute standout for the role and we have every confidence he will take education and health to new levels in Greater Springfield," Mr Sinnathamby said.
Mr Kearney said he was looking forward to the challenge of his new role with Springfield Land Corporation.

In his role as Executive General Manager for Education and Health Mr Kearney will be responsible for overseeing the development and integration of Education City and Health City Springfield.
Education City is the unique integrated learning hub of the Greater Springfield community. Education City provides multiple learning opportunities to its local and international community by bringing education, training and learning providers together to the one location. Education City provides innovative partnering opportunities unique in the education industry.
Health City Springfield is a masterplanned comprehensive health and wellness precinct that will incorporate an integrated service planning framework across the care continuum with a focus on wellness and prevention. It will become a regional hub for the delivery of health services to the rapidly growing population of the western corridor.
"Nobody anywhere else in Australia, or the entire world for that matter, is doing anything like what we are doing here in Greater Springfield to improve the delivery and integration of education and health services, so I am very excited to play a role in such a revolutionary project," Mr Kearney said.
Terry began his career as a physical education teacher, moving on to become a School Principal before moving to senior management within the Department of Education.
In his administrative roles, Terry has worked on workforce development, leadership, performance, strategy and indigenous education and training. Terry was also involved and chaired the industry peak body for the decade preceding the Sydney Olympics.
"With so much experience in the education industry I am enormously confident Terry will be able to add significant value to Education City and Health City Springfield and to the greater possibilities for Greater Springfield," Mr Sinnathamby said.
