City overview

From dreams to reality

When Maha Sinnathamby and Bob Sharpless purchased 2,860 hectares of Greenfield space in South-East Queensland back in 1992, Greater Springfield was born. In the years since, their shared vision to build a world-class city has been realised.

Room to grow

At the heart of Greater Springfield lies Springfield Central, a purpose-built, 360-hectare CBD. It’s the innovative and thoughtful planning of this CBD area that makes doing business here not only profitable, but also pleasurable and efficient as well.

“An address that both the business and residential population will be proud to call home”

Ready for growth

In addition to catering to general businesses, Springfield Central includes specialist precincts focusing on health, education, business, retail and information and communications technology (ICT). And with a rapidly growing local population, Greater Springfield provides both a market for your services and an accessible pool of skilled employees.
A university campus, health and wellness precinct and a large-scale shopping centre also stimulate economic activity within the region, and provide communal facilities and touchpoints around which civic pride can flourish.
