Overview
Why I chose Greater Springfield
Suncorp has had a long and successful relationship with Springfield Land Corporation, helping them and other developers finance the creation of this amazing and cutting-edge location. Suncorp chooses to do business in Greater Springfield because it is a vibrant and innovative centre, giving us unlimited access to one of Australia’s fastest-growing areas, the Western growth corridor. The exponential growth of Greater Springfield continues to attract a whole new set of opportunities on an almost daily basis. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Chairmans Foreword
It has now been 15 years since Greater Springfield first began its journey to become one of Australia’s fastest growing masterplanned cities.

Today, Greater Springfield is experiencing its most exciting development period to date, with the creation of a 320ha CBD, a new rail line to Brisbane and duplication of the Centenary Highway at a cost of over $1 billion by the Queensland Government. This commitment highlights strong confidence by the government in ensuring the CBD makes a significant impact on the region.

We are strongly committed to ensuring that the CBD and all allied entities (including Education City, Health City and Orion) provide not only job opportunities but also facilities that will ensure residents do not have to leave Greater Springfield for such support. We are also pleased that with our own dark fibre network and soon to be developed Tier III Data Centre, Greater Springfield will attract major IT facilities that will drive the CBD to attract major IT corporations.

With Greater Springfield development activity already surpassing $1.5 billion, this new city is bringing together the very best in business, ICT, education, health, retail and entertainment to one central location. This is the future of South-East Queensland. And you’re invited to be part of it.
  • Planned population of 100,000+
  • Jobs for 30,000
  • Expenditure of over $1 billion by the Queensland Government on the duplication and extension of the Centenary Highway and the development of a new rail line through the Springfield CBD by 2015
  • A rapidly growing student population which is growing at the rate of 1000 students per year. Education City’s student numbers have doubled in just 12 months
  • A variety of recreation and entertainment experiences already established in the area with more to come

We want you to be part of this unique city and invite any innovative and value-adding opportunities in the areas of Health and Education to contact us.
